Tottenham Hotspur knocked down their iconic White Hart Lane home in May 2017 in preparation for the construction of a brand new arena. For the fans and everyone associated with the club the last game in the old ground was always going to be steeped in emotion. The club decided that a finale ceremony was needed to properly mark the occasion and it appointed Theo as its creative director.
The show’s elements included a gospel choir, a military band and an opera singer as well as a parade of some of the legendary players that had called the stadium home.
Theo also made two films that were shown on a giant state of the art screen installed specially for the occasion. The whole ceremony was broadcast live around the world and received rave reviews from press and pundits alike.
